ngl, I never thought I'd be a "content creator" 💀 but here we are. Started posting programming stuff on TikTok and somehow accumulated 152K+ likes and 3.7K followers. wild right?

Why I Started

After grinding on real projects at MIND ID, Kalla Property, and DPR RI, I realized I was learning stuff that tutorials don't teach. Content felt too polished, too "perfect." Real dev work is messy and I wanted to share that.

What Actually Works

Short form > long form Nobody wants a 30-min tutorial anymore. 60-90 seconds on one specific thing = way better engagement. today I learned that attention spans are like, really short 📉

Code + Personality = 🚀 The algorithm literally rewards authentic content. Showing your face, making jokes, even getting frustrated - people connect with that more than perfectly edited tutorials.

Topics that hit different:

  • "Things I wish I knew before my first job"
  • "Code review red flags"
  • "This one TypeScript trick saved me 3 hours"
  • Debugging sessions (people love watching stuff break and get fixed)

The Unexpected Wins

  • Got job opportunities from people who found me on TikTok
  • Built credibility in the dev community
  • Actually improved my own understanding by explaining concepts
  • Connected with other creators doing similar stuff

The Real Talk

Making content while doing actual dev work is exhausting ngl. But seeing someone comment "this helped me pass my interview 🥹" hits different than any work achievement.

Current Stats (as of March 2024)

  • 59 videos posted
  • 152,200 total likes
  • Mostly programming tips, debugging sessions, and career advice

If you're a dev sitting on knowledge, just start posting. Don't overthink it. Your "basic" knowledge is someone else's breakthrough. 🔥
